Rice

Rice is one of the oldest and most widespread cereals in the world. It is a staple food for more than half of the world’s population. It is grown in various types, the most famous of which are white, brown (whole grain), jasmine, basmati and parboiled rice. It contains complex carbohydrates, is naturally gluten-free and easily digestible. It is used as a side dish, main course and part of salads, soups and desserts.
